Adding a Touch of Fall in Your Home
Bring Fall Into Your Home with These Touches
Fall colors are beautiful, warm, and vibrant. While so many of us love to watch the leaves change from green to red and orange hues, admiring these colors usually only lasts as long as you are outside. If you love the hues of fall, consider adding some autumn touches in your home. While you’re at it take a look at your decor, is it cozy and inviting? If not consider adding some of these touches to your home.
Re-Style Your Coffee Table
Switch out the items on your coffee table, and create a homage to the fall season. Use small plants, stack a few books, and add a tray to set a space you and your guests will love.
Switch Out Pillows
One of the easiest ways to bring in quick fall color is to switch out existing sofa pillows. You can do this in your family room, bedroom or anywhere else you want to rock a fall color palette.
Put a Sheepskin On It
It’s easy to add coziness to any corner by simply adding a thick, (faux) sheepskin blanket to any chair. Don’t be surprised if guests hog this space. Add a pouf next to the chair of your choice for when you want to kick your feet up and relax.
Opt For Leafy Branches
Flowers are always a good option, but we love leaves and flowering branches for fall. Here, we placed Eucalyptus in a deep purple vase for a pop of color. Best of all, it makes the whole space smell heavenly. Cherry and apple blossoms are also beautiful flowering branches that you can often find at farmers’ markets during the season.
Set the Table
A fun way to invite each season into your home is by keeping a dinnerware set for each. Store your seasonal dishware in a garage or attic when not in use, so they don’t take up too much room in your kitchen cabinets. For fall table settings, add a burlap table runner, various size pumpkins.
